Brentwood is situated within the Metropolitan Green Belt and is a prosperous residential and established office centre 24 miles east of London with a population of over 300,000 within 6.5 miles travelling distance. Major employers locally include BT, Ford, Countryside Properties, Bank of New York Mellon and Amstrad.

Brentwood is well connected especially to London and the motorway network. There is a frequent rail service to Liverpool Street from Brentwood (40 minutes) or a fastline service from Shenfield station (25 minutes) and with Underground connections Canary Wharf is 40 minutes journey time.
